AGORIA, HUB OF THE TECHNOLOGY INDUSTRY
Agoria is a multisector association representing companies active in 13 branches of industry: construction products, mechatronical engineering, metals & materials, metal processing, plastics, aerospace, security & defence, automotive, contracting & maintenance, electrical engineering & electronics, industrial automation, ICT and mounting & cranes. Together, these sectors constitute the technological industry, and the association provides collective and individual services for more than 1,370 member companies on a daily basis.
Influencing, consulting and bringing people together
Agoria's main mission is to improve the socio-economic environment in which these companies are active. However, improving corporate social relations is also crucial, as is Agoria's networking role, bringing together potential partners (e.g. suppliers and clients, members and non-members, employees and employers, policymakers).
Informing and advising
The actions taken by the association and its 250 employees are always geared primarily to its members' needs. Agoria provides specific services and advice (on topics including tax law, labour law, export policy and normalisation) and produces a wide range of electronic and paper publications for companies' benefit.

AGORIA AUTOMOTIVE
AGORIA AUTOMOTIVE is the sector representing the Belgian Automotive industry, which includes the manufacturers of cars, buses and trucks as well as the automotive suppliers. AGORIA AUTOMOTIVE also represents all players within the trailer industry, the freight container business and the bicycle manufacturers.
For all of its members AGORIA AUTOMOTIVE is a lobby instruments on political level to make sure the automotive industry gets the support on all levels.
AGORIA AUTOMOTIVE is also very much envolved in the area of influencing technical regulations on all levels (national, EU and UN-ECE.
The third area where AGORIA AUTOMOTIVE is unique is the way international business development is carried out. Via its website AGORIA AUTOMOTIVE contacts and develops relations with headquarters of OEM's, TIER 1-supplier and with other automotive region in order to promote and stimulate the business of its members. Especially for this reason, AGORIA AUTOMOTIVE has created the AGORIA AUTOMOTIVE CLUB. Members benefit from direct contact with Headquarters. At European level, AGORIA AUTOMOTIVE represents the interests of Belgian automotive suppliers within CLEPA, the European automotive suppliers association; the interests of the trailer manufacturers within CLCCR, the liaison committee of trailer manufacturers and body builders.
AGORIA AUTOMOTIVE represents members' interests on the federal and regional levels, as well as at a European level and international level through active participation in working groups and committees notably in the European Commission and the UN-ECE
