The AUDI Brussels plant is currently preparing for the launch of the AUDI A1. Some modules evidently have been sourced while others still need to be allocated. The supply chain between the manufacturing sites and the AUDI Brussels conveyor is yet to be defined. The AUDI Brussels management has put itself first-in-class targets as it comes to cost efficiency and flexibility of industrial means put in place. Therefore, AUDI Brussels, Agoria Automotive and the Automotive Suppliers Section of Febiac are pleased to invite you to a:
Business meeting with the AUDI Brussels senior management
Mr Paul Lenaerts, AUDI Brussels Secretary General and Mr Eric Prieels, AUDI Brussels Logistics Director will present the current proceedings of the AUDI A1 project and expand on the main challenges for the AUDI Brussels site.
The second part of the meeting will allow for an open discussion and more individual meetings focusing on state of the art “one-touch and one-move” concepts that may contribute to the AUDI Brussels targets. In short, the following areas are of a particular interest:
- Value adding concepts related to variant explosion - and/or volume explosion
- Packaging, handling and line feeding,
- Stock reduction and stock management,
- Material planning, conditioning, tracing and warehousing,
- Quality control and Supplier Quality assurance.
