The Automotive Suppliers Section of FEBIAC kindly invites you to participate at their annual seminar on the occasion of the European Motor Show Brussels: Friday, JANUARY 16th 2009 With keynote speaker Mr Patrick Collignon, Production Unit Director Volvo Truck USA.
The management of Volvo in Sweden and Belgium has decided to make Volvo Europa Truck NV in Oostakker near Ghent the first CO2-neutral company in Belgium by 2007. Projects have been launched to reduce energy consumption while switching over to CO2-neutral energy sources and production processes. Partnerships, with among others Electrabel, have been setup strengthening each others core competencies and making the new ‘Cab Trim’ production area even CO2-free. “We hope this project will inspire other companies. The technology is there. It’s a question of daring“, says Patrick Collignon.
Furthermore, two speakers of Bosch-Rexroth will discuss the subject from the manufacturing equipment providers’ perspective. We welcome Mr Elmar Worms, Global Account manager Audi and Mr Francis Singer, CEO Bosch-Rexroth BeLux.
